Bedford School

Bedford School is a leading boarding and day school for boys aged 7 to 18 years where fundamental traditions combine with innovative education to provide a challenging and stimulating environment.  In addition to an established reputation for academic excellence, the School is also known for its strengths in music, drama, art and sport.

Recognising the value of an international education, Bedford has introduced the International Baccalaureate Diploma alongside A levels in the Sixth form giving every boy the opportunity to select the qualification which best suits his individual needs. From Easter 2007, the School is also running a series of IB revision and review courses, for anyone following the IB Diploma, in small classes to help boost knowledge and confidence.

The School recently launched its new Access Award & Scholarship scheme with some £1million of funding per year in recognition of academic, music or sporting potential providing opportunities for boys, irrespective of background.
