Bedford Modern School

Bedford Modern School is a co-educational independent day school for approximately 1, 209 students between the ages of 7 and 18 years.

The School is a thriving, busy community providing first class teaching and traditional values. It is set in a 45 acre wooded site with spacious playing fields and excellent facilities already available to students, and a continuing development plan in place. The Rutherford Building (incorporating a Sixth Form Centre and Refectory) opened in 2006, a new Library and Resource Centre opens in 2007 and a Performing Arts Centre follows this development.

BMS is a forward looking rapidly developing school that is strong in music, drama and sport. High academic standards and excellent examination results are proven but it also aims to develop its students through a wide range of cultural and sporting opportunities and exceptionally caring pastoral structure.
