Promoting your grantIssuing press releases and generating positive publicity for your projectAs a condition of your grant you are required to publicise the fact you have received a grant from the Charity; it is also a good opportunity to raise public awareness of your work, tell people who you are, what you are doing and how the community will benefit.
This guide will provide you with some basic hints and tips on how to write a press release and negotiate media coverage to help promote the work of your organisation/project. A list of current local media contacts is also included.
