The King's Arms Project

The Bedford Charity has funded homelessness charity the King’s Arms Project for four years. The money has enabled the group to run its innovative floating support project, Onward. Onward staff provide individual support for homeless people, whether they are sleeping rough, staying at the project’s nightshelter or hostel, ‘sofa surfing’ or taking up their own tenancy. An evaluation of the project was recently carried out by Dr Megan Ravenhill, Honorary lecturer at Kingston University and author of ‘The Culture of Homelessness’ .  A copy of her report is attached.
