Community grants

The Bedford Charity is a major contributor to valuable community activities within the Borough. As well as owning and managing 40 almshouse dwellings, we award grants that normally total over £500,000 each year.

Our three broad areas of charitable activity encompass education, relief and recreation. We welcome ideas and proposals for projects that aim to make a real difference to the people that live within the Borough of Bedford.
